Storytelling sessions are interactive stories that are told and not read, where children are encouraged to participate and add to the narrative. For younger age groups & SEN they very often include puppets and sensory props.
Sessions can be themed around curriculum topics both for literacy and the wider curriculum.
Storytelling workshops include an interactive story that is told and not read, where children are encouraged to participate and add to the narrative. In addition, workshops include exercises to encourage children to create stories both verbally and to feed into written work.
Workshops will include follow up resources for teachers and a return visit can be included to celebrate work produced as a result.
