"Ssh, Listen!

Do You Hear The Stories Whispering?"

Welcome!

I’m Hannah Brailsford and I’m a professional storyteller & drama practitioner based in Essex passionate about engaging and inspiring children and families through stories.

I have twenty-five years experience as both a drama educator and storyteller supporting oracy in education and the wider community.

I use traditional stories, folk & fairy tales, myths and legends from around the world to inspire and ignite imaginations and nurture the next generation of storytellers and creators.

With the assistance of my storytelling elf Oakley and her friends from the Story Wood, my sessions are both inclusive and interactive.

I have an enhanced DBS and public liability insurance and I'm a member of both Equity, The Society for Storytelling, UKLA and The National Literacy Trust.

"Wherever she goes, Hannah lifts the soul with her unique brand of storytelling and infectious joy for her craft."
